Take the lift our of the back? Yeah, because the leaf springs sitting on 2 inch blocks isn't obvious.
Put a load in it?
Are you fucking kidding me with this shit?

Semper Fi, brother!
Oorah!

How do I raise my front end? It sits about 2.75" below the rear.
Lift options on an 04 Dakota are extremely limited. The max amount you can lift the front suspension is about 3 inches and this wouldn't be recommended because the control arms would be touching the bump stops. I would recommend a max of about 2.5 inches of lift and that would be pushing it.

I can't tell if someone else has cranked the torsion bars, but if the lower control arms, tie rods, and axle half shafts are about parallel 'to the deck' it probably hasn't been cranked. However if there is an obvious angle to these parts and the upper bump stops are almost touching the upper control arms, it's been cranked and thats all the lift you're gonna get out of that truck, unless you want to swap in a solid axle
