I need some help please, I have replaced the multi-switch that controls the highbeams but the headlights still shut off when tilt wheel is down...
I did not notice any obvious pinched wires when the column plastic shroud was removed but I am hoping that someone out there will know exactly what the issue is and how to resolve this problem!

Please offer any advice.

Thanks in advance!

Is there a specific wire that I should be focusing on?!?

It is a 98 Durango the problem happens when tilting the wheel, it is definitely not the Multi-Switch or connector...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Try this

This is happened on my 98 about a year ago, I pulled the cover off the column and the connector off the multiswitch and cleaned it out with contact cleaner and put it back together. It worked for the past year and now its acting up again.
