I need the same info.

I just had my truck to the dealer today, and because of the telltale popping noise in the front suspension, they will be replacing one of the balljoints. The part is on order. I figured if I could track down the greaseable balljoint, I would try to get them to install them as part of the coverage.

I searched the archives and got this suggestion:

http://www.rockauto.com/

Check locally before ordering anything online. I can generally get MOOG parts easily at local parts houses. The RockAuto price was about $45/each for reference.

Rockauto generally has the best prices and carries Moog. They have an excellent catalog system set up on their site as well. Many have ordered from them in the past with no problems.

Thanks for the discount link! :)

Today, I checked with the Service Manager of Family Dodge in Philadelphia to see if I could buy MOOG ball joints and install them to correct the front end problem.

I was told they could not use anything but Dodge parts to make the repair. Anything else and they would not acknowledge future problems.

So there is the trade-off:
- have the repair covered by Dodge, use marginal parts
- DIY w/ MOOG joints and absolve Dodge of any future blame
