Whats up guys,

I’ve got a 99 Dakota RT and I’ve been searching high and low for steering knuckles for my truck and I can’t find them anywhere. I need both sides since the threads for the brake caliper guide pins are completely stripped on both sides. Any suggestions on possible replacements or repairs? I was thinking about putting a heli-coil in it but I’ve heard that isn’t a full proof repair and honestly I prefer to just replace the part all together. I found one through a local seller but the guy wants $516 for both knuckles, I feel like that’s way too overpriced. Am I wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Helicoil, or I just grabbed the oversized ones (I think it’s m6 thread and went to m8, it’s a self tap too) and haven’t had problems now for 2 years

I may have the pair I removed from my 99 Dakota. I will check.

Any luck finding them?
No luck in the garage. I need to get in the attic this weekend, maybe there. I will let you know one way or the other.

I have the knuckles. These came off of the truck at 80k-ish miles. I replaced with newer/larger Durango brakes. There are no issues with them.
