I have a 04 Dakota and my engine recently blew it had a 3.7 v6 in it I wanna put a better engine in it like a 5.7 hemi I’ve heard that I can do it and I’ve heard no I can’t do it I know if I was to I’d have to put a new diff and trans in it but I can’t seem to find anything that says if I can or can’t so if y’all could help I’d appreciate it have a good day

You better have a lot of free time and a lot of tools, because you will need a lot in order to swap a HEMI into a 3.7 Dakota.
It is doable but your skillset under the hood is where it will make or break you because some things are not a direct swap and you will need to either fabricate or buy some of the parts to make this swap work.
