So a few months ago, my heat started only blowing on high. I did my research and replaced the blower motor resistor. It fixed the problem, about two months later, it happened again, and I replaced it again. After about a week it’s now gone out again? What else could it be besides the resistor?

Check the ground for the resistor and the blower motor. They will build corrosion and create resistance burning up your resistor. Had the same issue on my 04.

In my truck, aftermarket resistors never last more than a few weeks. Try using an OEM Mopar blower motor resistor, I never needed to replace it again yet, which has been a couple of years now.

You don't say if the resistor you installed is OEM or aftermarket. I had the same with an aftermarket unit that lasted only a few weeks; an OEM unit resolved that problem. Otherwise can be an issue with the blower motor or connections creating too much resistance.

REPLACE THE PIGTAIL AS WELL, THOSE WIRES AND PLUG HAVE BEEN OVERHEATED FOR SO LONG THAT THEIR RESISTANCE IS LOW ALLOWING STILL HIGH CURRENTS.
THE PIGTAIL IS AVAILABLE FROM AMAZON FOR A FEW BUCKS. JUST MAKE SURE THE CONNECTORS ARE THE BEST POSSIBLE!!!! LOSE CONNECTIONS CREATE HIGH HEAT.
I HAD THE SAME ISSUES X 3 TILL I REPLACED THE PIGTAIL. STILL NO MORE PROBLEMS 4 YEARS LATER.

You may want to change the blower motor, after a while the bearing start to drag a bit and the windings take a little more current. If the commutator is worn and the brushes don't make good contact, it will draw more power thru the resistor pack. They should have used a PWM (phase width modulator) instead of resistors.

Agree with alschott. The motor begins drawing more resistance and overheats the wires and burns up the resistor until it only works on high (no resistance). Replace the blower motor (root cause) and then the resistor for less than $100.
