I wish I could say mine fit great, sure they fit great when the motor isn't in the truck! I expected them to fit snug in there with a little bit of persuasion but it took a lot more persuasion than I thought. Most have had good luck with them but I'm not alone, I believe sick660 had trouble with them as well. I am very happy with them though!

Is that motor installed in your truck?
well they are in the truck and it took about 10 mins

That's good to hear! If only mine went in so smoothly

The Spintech port plates are aluminum plates that bolt to the head. Then they are threaded for the headers to bolt to. The header bolt pattern is different from the head so the tubing could be bigger and the bolts are easier to get to.

Spintechs.... any others are shorties, a bit better than stockers but up to you....

if ya plan on more mods to the motor, spend $$$$ once and get the Spintechs.
so will them spintechs work on my 5.9 durango. and are they the best for durangos

was that with the motor already in the truck? That fast it sounds like the Mid length headers.

One reason I decided against Long Tubes was fitment and dont want to have to spend all day grinding and wiggling things in for a set of headers.

If spintech long tubes are going in that easy I just may change my mind and order them instead of the mids

I fairly certain that the long tubes wont fit any durango. The mids should though and those are nice.
