I purchased the truck second hand. I cant stand the lowering kit on it, currently 4 inches slammed. I would like to restore stock ride height. What parts typically would be needed to achieve this. Its just too low. Its a 1999 R/T Dakota. Any advice would help

Unfortunately, we can't see what the previous owner did to lower the truck. He could have cut the coils or installed drop spindles, or maybe both. The rear could have been dropped with longer shackles or blocks. We just don't know.

You could try contacting the PO and ask them what products they used to lower the truck or if you can compare your truck to another Dakota, that should give you an idea as to what was altered. Keep in mind that R/Ts were about an inch lower than regular 2wd Dakotas.
