Got another one. I've been talking with a couple of guys who have '02 Dakotas who have had the radiator clog up using the factory anti-freeze(the 5yr. stuff). They both say that they pulled the thermostat out while trying to clean the system and the stat was hard to find in the ball of goop that came out of the stat housing.
Anyone else had this problem?

My '99 had the same problem. So I flushed the system, and put in the DEX-COOL. Looks great and stays a little cooler, too.

I just had ro replace the radiator core on a 2001 4.7. Radiator shop says don't believe the long life anti-freeze. Change it at least every 2 years.

Haven't had that problem yet, but I did add NOS water treatment that is like Wetter Water. So I hope I miss this problem.
