we just bought a 2002 durango with the overhead garage door opener.....does anyone know how we program it to our door?????weve tried everything!!thanks!

If you have an opener with a rolling code you need to hike up the ladder to hit the reset on the opener, then program it to the D. Works best if you have another person since you have about 30 seconds to do it.

A little late I know but if someone else ever wants to know you need the original door opener, press and hold button while holding remote bout an inch from overhead console. Press and hold the button(the vehicle button) you want program it to at the same time, hold till the red light starts to blick rapidly, then keep holding till it stops. Your door is now programed.

I just went through this with mine. I had to pull the truck into the garage right under the opener (my opener requires pushing both the learn and transmitter at the same time). PITA, but it worked out fine
