FYI - Items to avoid purchasing

1) The Turbonator - the way air/fuel travels through the Magnum motor would probably cancel out any effect items like this would even remotely achieve.

2) Throttle Body Spacers - the way air/fuel travels through the Magnum motor would probably cancel out any effect items like this would even remotely achieve.

3) Any +hp "chip" from E-Bay/etc. They are just ten-cent resistors which replace the IAT sensor and attempt to fool the PCM into thinking the temperature of the air entering the engine is cooler or hotter than it really is, which supposedly slightly leans/richens the air/fuel mix going into the engine. Most of these people probably have no clue whatsoever what resistance value equals what temperature for the Dodge Dakota/Durango, and the mod itself does very little to begin with.

Funny thing about the TB spacers... they make good nitrous injection plate blanks....lol.

So there is some truth to it.

I bought one for $20 shipped. Drilled and tapped it for my nitrous fittings.

Not for nothing but I was quoted $250 for the plate itself.
Thats dangerous man, unless they are pressure tested you could get into trouble.....a friend of mine made one to the best of his abilities and had it sent to NX and tested, and they said anything over a 100 shot was dangerous....
holy mother of old thread.... :jester:
