Did any fuel rails come metal or were they all plastic?

All the fuel rails I've seen were metal...never seen a plastic set. :huh:

The only plastic on a set of fuel rails is the plastic line under the rubber hose that joins the 2 rails across the back of the intake. What year model is it off of and could you post some pics? You have my curosity up now.

i've never heard of or seen plastic fuel rails on dakotas, durangos, or rams....:huh:....hope you didnt get ripped off

not that I don't believe you but in theory I see a bad things happening. the pressure in the rails, heat creatig warp/cracks = BOOM!

I've only seen metal but have been told there are plastic also.

I read a post a while back where one guy said the ones that appear to be plastic are powder coated metal.

I sure would like to see the "plastic" fuel rails to know for sure. I too am curious.

I have seen a set of those on a new bodied ram that had a 360 iirc it was an 02 though didnt know they were plastic but i noticed the different mounting tabs than the older ones.

I have a 02 ram 360 new body style- I'll have to go take a look when the weather gets warmer. Crazy

I saw a pair on ebay a while back. A salvage yard may have some.

talk to john from southeast r/t he makes nice rails at a god price and everybody here will tell u he only makes good products and is great to deal with
