I'm new to the forum& realize many posts are very old but still helpful. I have a 2002 durango slt 4wd 4.7 liter engine. It's been a work horse for me. Buying a new SUV or truck isn't an option because of the miles I put on for work and I like the old beast & close to retirement in a few years or less. I scanned it with Aurelia blue tooth and found a few shorts in various parts of the tranny components& fuel related on the engine. 1 injector was leaking. Also said low rail ppressure.replaced the o rings & saw cracks on the injector body which is plastic. Is that just a casing around the actual injector or or is that what it is made of? Anyway I check a couple more& all had cracks.theres no fuel leaking. But do they need to be replaced? Tested 2 to see if they worked and they do but cleaned them anyway. Could this be a pump problem or filter?
