Does anyone have a pic of the wire to be cut? i cant seem to find the plug
Wondering this myself. All the pics I've seen are from '01 or '00. I have an '03 and it looks like the TCM/PCM are fused, like I've read about for the '04) because there are 4 plugs side by side. I have found the yellow w/green stripe wire on the far right plug but have no idea if this is right. Hoping someone can see this SOON that has an '03 and can tell me for sure. Wanting to get this mod done today.

You'll love it :biggthump The nice thing is that during everyday driving, you'll feel no change and the shifts will be nice and smooth. You'll only notice the difference at WOT. Try punching it while rolling at about 20-30mph... BIG differnce... have fun! :toast:

Yup, the Torque Sense wire is used ONLY on the 3.7/4.7/5.7's. 3.9/5.2/5.9L don't use this system... BUT you do have the luxury of a shift kit :biggthump

Yup.

What truck do you have??

Here are the 2 harnesses that you're dealing with, but you really need only be concerned with the one on the right side in this pic... this is on the passenger side fire wall. The yellow/green stripe wire comes out of pin 10. It's best to pull it out as opposed to cutting it, but either works. I installed a toggle switch so it could be switched back to stock if I were so inclined.

Good luck guys :toast:
Umm what pic. the pic link didn't show up but I see it now after hitting the quote box.

don't cut the one with the white stripe!

So I cut the wrong wire and actually disabled the gears it would just go into 4th. Rev still worked and the gear selector on the dash had boxes around every gear instead of just OD like normal. It was weird but still drove. Needless to say I patched that sucka back up. So is the wire on the second row looking at it longways right by the bolt. There were two yellow wires and they aren't numbered. I don't know where you guys came up with #10. I see some numbers like in random places and orders. I couldn't tell which damn way the numbers were going. If anyone can help please do. I know it's yellow w/ a green stripe not the white stripe. lol! And do you have to do anything special to pull out the wire. It was a real bitch and wouldn't come out so I just cut it. I obviously can't just pull it out with my hands. Maybe with some pliers or something.

iat mod

well where i live(arizona) there is only a couple of months that i dont use the a/c then the sensor goes in one of the ram air tubes under the hood. The reason i brought it inside is ,its up to me if the sensor is in the a/c vent or not i dont need the timing bumped and an increase in fuel pressure at idle , in traffic , when its 112 degrees outside. Its kind of adjustable, and you dont have to pop the hood.As far as in the morning when the heater is on, pull it out of the vent.......... 🤤 when its time to use the heater here ive allready put it back under the hood. I have scheduled dyno time in a week and ill post the graphs for all to see.
Ahh Man! Am I too late? Did I miss 'em? 🤤
