not exactly free, but when you change your plugs, switch to Autolite 3923, instead of the stock plugs.
Remove spare tire (for less weight)

Every little bit helps :biggthump
Shave the funnels off your TB

Adjust TPS to ~.7
How do you set the TPS to .7?
bore out the holes for the screws that connect the sensor to the TB and then you can move it to whatever setting you want since it is slightly loose fitting.. most guys go for .75... if its around there already dont bother
Thanks for the info....aloways wondered about that :biggthump
Check and adjust the tire pressure once a month.
Use Syn. oil at the correct weight.
Use the correct grade of gasoline. Higher is not always better.
When on the highway turn off the AC and lower the windows.
Port match the intake.
Keep the air filter clean.
Check and clean the IAC once each year.
Real good stuff guys..... like the stuff above, dosent have to be 100% free just pretty cheap...... real good advice.......keep it comin :biggthump

Your engine needs about 5 hp to turn the A/C pump due to drag, even when the A/C isn’t engaged. Once you eliminate the A/C pump’s drag, you’ll pick up the lost power, squirting your ride a little quicker down the track. .

for more gains, bypass your PS pump too.

I'd have to dissagre at speeds at over 60mph aero wise its better to have the windows up and A/C on, I owned an old 280zx and in the owners manual it said to roll the windows up for better MPG and use your A/C (cira 1983)
Yep! Just a tiny amount better with the A/C vs the open windows.
and its quieter too, to boot! dont know about you, but i deal with enough noise at work, dont need it when im driving too. :biggthump
actually myth busters proved it true that having the windows down is better than a/c as far as gas mileage. this test was done with the cruise set to 50 mph and both vehicles had 5 gallons of gas. the one with the a/c ran out of gas first.

It's been noted before that at speeds less than 45 having the windows down doesn't have that much affect on drag. 50 must have been almost a toss up. Hard to know how well the test was controlled. Obviously you would have to run "both vehicles" simultaniously and side by side. Then you would have to do the test all over again switching vehicles. After all of that you would data applicable to only that make and model vehicle. That is not much of a "myth buster" imo.

true, true. the buster was against the idea. but as you say , i`m sure all makes and models differ slightly.

So who drives at 50mph?

Gotta drive on residential roads sometimes lol. JK I usually do less the speed limit in residential areas, kids never look both ways.

I work around race cars and its less aero drag when there up if you notice in American Lemans that they have windows on there cars with just a hole for the driver to stick a bird out.
LOL @ the Myth Busters thing.

I love that show. I always wondered if cars blew up if shot in the gas tank, but they don't! MYTH BUSTED!!!
