Very sloppy.
Why because its nicer than yours? Iv never seen you with anything good to say about anyone elses work.
my god that's beautiful
I thought so myself. What i wouldnt give to have mine anywhere close to that nice
I've met that guy a few times at Mopars at the Strip. A number of the pictures he's using in that auction are ones I took this year. He has a forum user here, but has almost never used it.

Some elements of that truck are really nicely done, but some others could probably use some touch-ups to look nicer. One cautionary tale would be the 406TT setup - he used to have a 5.2L in there a couple of years ago. He said some shop in Utah built the setup for him, but I don't think it has ever been properly tuned for boost (the 318 -> 406 conversion was probably a result of that tuning). It probably has a lot of potential in the right hands.

As far as I'm aware the guy has barely driven it - it's definitely a trailer queen.

I guess I'm just jaded from my years of being a car show judge. I used to look at these types of cars in magazines and think that they were quite nice, not knowing the tell-tale signs of poor work. Then I became a certified judge, and saw the work up close. I was very disappointed, because all of the cars I was seeing in magazines didn't look good in person. When I went back to the pictures later, I could then see it, the signs of a poor customization job.

I actually had to stop subscribing to car magazines because of this. I mean no offense, don't take if personally.

I take back what i said. I should have looked at it from your point of view. I was just in such aw over it i really loved it and when you said that just hit me wrong. I appologize. in regards yours is nice, just not the work that has done to it,,, good or not:sorry::eek:nethumb:
I see that it went for $14,100.
yeah, alot cheaper than what it could have been built for, atlease what icould build it for. Id loved to had it
You almost NEVER get what you invest in that sort of vehicle.
Yeah i know iv had a few in my days and never got what i had in them,, but had so much fun doing it and just couldnt take it anywhere else so i started something new after sell the current project at the time

...That is, unless you win a National or International title. Then I've found that turning a profit is possible.
yeah that is true.
That thing is hideous in my opinion. That being said the work under the hood looks like it was done fairly clean (for the most part).
But its really the small things that bother me, the truck is obviously built for show, so why not get an intercooler that fills the front bumper? the wheels look busy and cheep, and with all the body work to smooth out the sides he leaves on the huuuge side mirrors? and why not take another 5-10 hours of labour to clean up some of the lines under the hood? i see hoses resting on the master cylinder and the tranny dip stick...
