I've had a set of Flame Red flares laying around since my bro-in-law gave them to me in July (Thanks Kevin!) Since I had the day off, I sanded, primed and "test installed" them tonight. What a difference! Since there is too much black on this truck to turn Garnet, I'm going to try to continue the theme. The flares will be semi-gloss or satin black, as will the grey parts of the bumpers. Eventually, I may try to black out ALL of the chrome (I guess that's only the grill and bumpers). This is the direction I have spousal approval to go in. Dakota GTS (GT Sport)

So your going to make it a Dakota STX? Not that there's anything wrong with that, cause personally I love those! (Almost bought one of those Denim color'd ones, wishing now that I did!)

If you mean SXT, then appearance wise, I guess sort of. The SXT didn't have a 4.7L though, nor chrome grille and bumpers, or fog lights (or power seats/windows/locks, or steering wheel stereo controls).
Here's the truck in the light of day. That valance has got to go black!
