Well,we finally finished it up. Lots of sanding,4 coats of SEM, 3 coats Krylon Fusion and 3 coats of clear. Hope it holds up to all your high standards!LOL

(Sorry about my blue toes!)

Looks really nice. Are you doing any other parts of the interior or just that?

suh-weeeeet! What kind of paint did you use? The plastic dye or an enamel?

No primer was used. The paint was from an automotive paint supplier and is made by SEM @ $11.00 a can. It is actually called an elastomer coating which is made for plastic,rubber,carpet and velour. Then the Krylon Fusion then Rustoleum High Gloss clear enamel.
Don't know if anything else will be done, with the exception of the trim around the 4X4 shifter.

I did learn to no longer read the directions on the can as sanding WAS needed. :drive:

That looks awsome installed! Great job. I really looks like it matches the exterior paint that you can see in the door jam. Sweet man.
