2003 Durango SLT

Hi,

I have the stock CD and cassette head unit. I've noticed there are similar looking units for similar model years which have either aux or bluetooth.
Does anybody know if these might be compatible? I can't make sense of all the part #s, plus lots of sites don't even have a picture of the back of the head unit.

Bonus Question:
Did trims above the SLT have a CD changer? I have seemingly useless numbered buttons on the radio

Thanks!

There were a variety of CD changers available during those vintage Mopars - mult-disk in headunit, multi-disc remote in dash, and multi-disk remote trunk. I believe the head units you see on ebay with aux ports are using the CD changer input with an aftermarket adapter mounted into the faceplate.

If your stock headunit has the CD changer controls you can probably just purchase the aux input adapter and mount it wherever is convenient.

If you have the cassette deck there are also cheap commonly available cassette shaped bluetooth adapters you can insert and link to a device.
