[GWH4.7]

I have an 03 QC and there is a nosie coming from a part that I cant find anything about. The part is mounted in front of the charcoal canister and looks like it might be some sort of valve. The noise is a rattle and only happens just after the truck is turend off. Does anyone know the name of this part?

If i remember correctly thats the purge solenoid, on earlier years it was mounted to the battery tray and on the other motors it was on the fire wall above the left valve cover.

So i talked to the parts department at the local dealership and determined through looking at parts,and drawings that the part on my truck making the noise was the leak detection pump. I replaced it with a new one and its still making nosie. Does anyone have any ideas?

Curious as to how you made out. I realize that this is an old thread too.
