I own a 99 R/T & am attempting to give it a more forgiving car-like ride. It still has the stock shocks on it. I was thinking about purchasing the Edelbrock IAS performers for it. Would that be a good inexpensive way to give it a smoother ride? Any other suggestions, keeping in mind I want to keep it inexpensive.
Thank you

Where'd you go? Come back and tell me how those Edelbrock shocks worked out, I've been wondering the same thing about them.

I ran the Edelbrock IASs on mine, they SUCKED. Anything but a smooth ride, and 3 of mine were leaking their tails off in about 20,000 mi. Replaced them with some Napa shocks, truck rode way smoother and they lasted about 90,000 mi and really the only reason I changed them then is because I did the Doetsch lift. The Doetsch shocks are doing well for me also, rides similar, if not better, then stock with the Napa shocks in spite of the much stiffer lift coils and spring spacers on top of them to boot.
