I just finished putting an NV3500 in my 98 Durango 5.9. It is so sweet. It took me over 4 years, but probably only a month of garage time. I'll try to post as much info as I can in case anyone is interested.

Did you ensure to use the flywheel out of a Ram with a 360 in it. That is one of the most important things to do, as the 360 is externally balanced. I'm sure you know this, but just wanted to get the info out there for those that don't know.

I swapped mine as well but im using the ax15 behind my 5.9 ram clutch and fly wheel. Its holding up great and I beat on it, will bark the shit out of my 33's. It has towed 7-8500 lbs multiple times as well.

Man, I know this is an old post, but this is the first I've heard of anyone putting the ax15 behind a 5.9. I've only ever heard that it wouldn't hold up, and thats the only thing that has stopped me from doing it. Any issues with the pcm or anything like that?
