A few weeks ago my diver side window stopped working. i am wondering if there are any suggestions for what could have broke on it.

I think my window motor is shot but i'm not positive? It could also be the window switch or wires going to the switch.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could determine if it's the switch or motor by removing the door panel and exposing the motor. Find the wire going into the motor, then make a jumper, connect it directly to the battery positive post and touch the motor terminal. If it works good, it's a bad switch. If theres no change in the motor, it's the motor going bad.

I have replaced my window motor/regulator twice. The first time I bought the cheapest one that Rockauto sells. The second time I bought a higher priced (and presumably better quality) unit. The first replacement used a pigtail harness to connect the wiring. It appeared as though water was able to collect in the connector as it was the lowest point in the wiring. Both the OEM and the new replacement have the connector as part of the housing and the wiring harness has to plug upwards to connect, making it almost impossible for water to get in there. It really isn't a big, or difficult, job. Only use 1 piece of duct tape to hold the window up though, that tape residue is a pain to remove.
