Hey guys, so I have had this truck for about a year now and I just started working on it.
First I picked up some 18x9 wheels with some used 33/12.50/18 nitto mud grapplers for $100 and had them Powder coated but found out that the 6 lug was wrong (they fit a 04+ F150) So I bought 1.5" adapters.
Well when I put the front wheels on they were rubbing like crazy about to pop my bumper off, so I had to buy a lift.
I got a ebay 3" t-keys w/ 3" blocks lift kit w/ new shocks for like $325
Well once I put the lift on and the wheels and tires the truck looked good but one of the tires kept going flat on me and plus they did not have much mud tread left on them anyway so I bought new wheels and tires.
I went down to 17 x 8.5" wheels with 295/70/17s. I let my wife pick out the wheels from about 4 sets that I liked and were in our price range.
So here are some pix.
Step one: Drop it off at my offroad mechanic lol I did not have the "tool" for it and did not want to mess anything up so I just paid someone $100 to do it for me.
Thanks dude I let my wife pic the wheels and I think she did a great job.
