Looking forward to the rest. Theres just something about pics and write ups that gets me excited.....
You think you're gonna run 35's with only a 2" lift?!?!? :waiting:hopefully 35's got about 20k left on the bfg's so it'll look funny for a while cuz i'am cheap like that
I plan to cut the shaft and run some tube over it for an extension, well see how it comes out I have access to machine tools so I want something that can be removable, secured by set screws.
Yeah, you can't just do whatever you want like that, you don't have an R/T.You think you're gonna run 35's with only a 2" lift?!?!? :waiting:
I know he has those prerunner fenders, but that's not at all going to prevent rubbing on the frame and everything else inside the fender. But what if he put on spacers, do you think? :huh:HAHA :jester: :mullet:
Seriously though, 35's won't work. This is your suspension set up, 3" body lift and 35's :

Notice the fender near the door, he has cut metal here!
dirtydak's ride BTW
I just want to see that R/T with some bigger rubbers. lol..They both have stock fenders with no flares and stock backspacing wheels with spacers.
Me Too :jester:I just want to see that R/T with some bigger rubbers. lol..
I could prob go 35's right now with some firewall plate trimming remember I have 4" rise fiberglass fenders and a 3" lift already lolzzz plus I'm running 1.5" spacers with craiger 16X7's with 4.0 backspacing, I would highly doubt 35's would hit the frame with that combo, I could fit a dead body in there with the space I have in there right now.

found my solution to the steering shaft, there's a square steel after the first u-joint (by the cab) so I'll find tubular square steel piece that'll slip over it, cut the solid square it, extend it and weld a slip fit over it, problem solved. and if someone didn't have access to a welder they could remove the u joint assembly drill holes in both shafts and use codder pins to hold it all together.
