i've noticed that since i got my truck repainted the paint is a lot more fragile than it was from the factory, anything i can do to protect it more?

park wayy in the back.. stay away from tractor trailors on the highway, avoid shopping carts :huh: your paint probally needs some more sun time to cure and harden... how long ago was it paintd?

a local body shop, supposedly a pretty reputable place, it looks nice but isn't nearly as tough.

take it up to another shop ask if its normal.. thye will be happy to tell you its not, then go back to the original shop and tell them what you found..

be prepared to answer the question... "why did you wait a year?"

Factory paint tends to be a fine powder, electrostatically charged to the panels about 3 microns thick, then sprayed with a clear coat. I think the problem you are exhibiting is that there is not enough clear on your paint.

describe what you mean by delicate? aftermarket paint is normally not as durable as factory paint. how have you been maintaining the paint?
