take it up to another shop ask if its normal.. thye will be happy to tell you its not, then go back to the original shop and tell them what you found..
be prepared to answer the question... "why did you wait a year?"
Factory paint tends to be a fine powder, electrostatically charged to the panels about 3 microns thick, then sprayed with a clear coat. I think the problem you are exhibiting is that there is not enough clear on your paint.
