I have an 02 Durango, 2wd, 4.7l
The ratio from factory is 8:55. I'm considering replacing it with an 8:92, but not sure what's involved.
You MAY want to re-read that; they don't sell 8.55 or 8.92.

Nor 8:55 or 8:92. Which wouldn't be how they list it, they'd list the :1 ratios, so 6.88 or 11.50 ....

(I'm betting 3's not 8's; 3.55 and 3.92 are both valid ratios.)

My 03 Stampede has a 3.92. Hard to know what makes these trucks special besides the body kit. What upgrades were standard to the package and what upgrades remained options. Some people say they are R/T‘s without the 5.9 but that’s not true. R/T had a 20mm rear sway bar. Mine has the standard duty 15mm. My truck doesn’t have max cooling either. I had to put it in myself from a donor truck.

Below is what is listed with the 'Stampede Ground Effects Group' option on the 03 Dakota.

A Stampede Ground Effects Group for regular and Club Cab Sport Dakotas (standard on R/T and optional on Regular and Club Cab 2WD models) included body-color front fascia with extension, rocker cladding, rear body color bumper with step pads, and tire and handling group.

Any other options were the same as they were available on other Dakota models.
