So correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding that Dakota rear leafs are stronger/more load capacity/however you want to look at it due to the fact that they have a bed for carrying loads and what not...so my question is, with a TC lift or spring over axle in the rear of a Durango, would it be better to swap stock Dakota leafs in place of my old Durango leafs, or just put some new Durango leafs in? would the Dakota ones even bolt right in? I'm sure someone has already thought of this, but I haven't found it yet, so if anyone can help out I'd appreciate it.

Just remove the lowest leaf and install an add-a-leaf in it's place, much beifeier! If you have the small leaf on the bottom about 12" long, you will have to remove the two smallest leafs then. This is what you most likly have to do, I haven't seen a rango without the 5 leaf pack. Swapping leafs with a dakota is kind of pointless and I don't think it would work anyway, top leaf centering hole might be off.
