Well i went out to pull the truck around to the garage to work on my grill.. well i got in to start it up and nothing.. all it would do was turn over.. that last time i had this problem all i had to do was wiggle the ASD relay and it would fire right up.. well ive done that and more.. i have switched the relays out and still nothing.. if anyone can give me a clue as of what to do.. all opinions are helpful and needed.. oh yeah and the fuel pump want whine when you turn the key forward..

Check for spark. I took off the Coil wire where it goes into the cap, put a 3" 1/4drive extension in there and hold the boot above like the intake. You should get a nice bright blue spark. If you have my luck, it'll be a small little yellow one, replace coil, drive truck! :biggthump

if u think itmay be a fuel problem, go to ur fuel rail on the driver back side and there is a screw cap on a valve, take that off and use the tip of ur key or something and press in the middle, be careful gas may come out if it does, then you have fuel, but next time you trun the key you should hear the pump kick in, if not u have a pump problem.

well me and dad went out today and took off the bed and stragiht wired the oump and nothing. I want to say it is the pump going bad but this happened last time and it was the computer but i dont think it has already went bad since i just replaced it 6 months ago... I called the guy that replaced the computer and he wastn home.. i will be taking it to him sometime soon and let him fix it.. i was just wishing it was a minor problem i could get fixed in the yard.. thanks you guys.. i will post the problem when i find out.. if any of you have any suggestions please. let me know..

after doing some research I found out the hot wire to the pump doesn't have any voltage until the motor is spinning over, It has to get the "crank me" info from the crank trigger. Now that being said all systems are ok. It was a bad pump.

I took and bypassed the computer system and the pump is not pumping any thing

I can't believe a fuel pump is $300.00 :cussing: A $300.00 pump to pump $3.00 a gallon gas

good thing you got the small tank. the big tank pump is over 500.oo. thats why i got an aftermarket one installed. parts cost 240 something, labor...well, thats another story.

wel in fact it was my fuel pump. We dcalled the guys that orked on my truck the first time and he lets us know the little info on turning over the motor to get power thing.. so we checked that and in fect we are getting power to the pump.. so we concluded that it was a bad pump. should be getting one here sometime soon.. thanks you guys for all the info..

went and got the fuel pump yesterday and put her in.. she is running good but right when i try to crank it up it wants to be a lil pain. Any ideas.. it seems like it isnt gettin enough gas at crank up.
