ok well me and my boys were heading out in my truck, its club cab so its hard for whoever is in the back seat to sit down. and i just started getting ideas in my head like, can i somehow get the bed of my truck to connect with the inside, like where the seats are. somehow cutout the back and weld them together. try to cut out the sound as much as possible and seal off the bed of course with like a bed cover and carpeting back there. kinda make it like a long wagon well not really just a place where people can lay down or sleep if we ever go on a road trip, know what i mean. i was thinking that that would be a bad ass thing to do, at least in my opinion anyways. if you've ever heard of this being done, do tell, haha. thanks

Its a really cool concept. Ive seen it done on a few local mini trucks. It looks cool but its really hard to find someone who will do it correctly. Me personally, I would just buy a durango. :p

You have my vote to do it. I wish I had the $$$ to do it. I haven't seen many trucks like that. The ones I have seen, I liked.

Yeah, it can done. That was a pretty popular mod for mini trucks in the late 80's early 90's. Just requires lotsa re-enforcement where the cab and bed are cut and linked together. I've seen a few hack jobs and it looks pretty bad when the truck looks like it has a "sag" where the cab and bed meet. But when done right its sweet. :biggthump

I've seen it done on an S-10, and it definitely isn't easy. The kid did it to fit the 32 sq. ft. box for his 6 15" subs. I've also seen it done on a Ram, it was was professional and looked completely factory. They look sweet when done right...

this is as close as i'll get to that kinda mod

since this is my daily beater i've not entertained the thought of turning my dak into a panel wagon. i agree it would be a cool idea :biggthump

btw cap came with headliner, coincidentally matching the bedrug :mullet:
