My work schedule is a bit weird because I work shift and always on nights so I am down for any afternoon that I am not working

whenever I get around to finish rebuilding my dakota (which involves figuring out which bolt Im missing to put the starter in..) I'd be up for some fun

So I hit forest road 105 on tuesday and well my conclusion after wheeling was that my truck needs a proper lift.

I am driving a 2005 so sadly there isnt s**t out there. I bought it with the body lift already installed. The body lift being the only lift they officially make for this truck. About a month ago I picked up the 2in leveling kit which is just a spacer that lifts the front coils 2in. I have yet to install them because I am far to lazy to go get an alignment.

I decided after wheeling that I should try to get some leaf spring blocks for the rear end to also lift it 2in so in theory I will be lifting the truck 2in all the way around. I dropped on by to 4wheelparts and after much measuring and calling for parts out from the warehouse we made a kit out of 2 different leaf spring block kits. pretty much using the U-Bolts from the kit for a 3/4 ton Ram and the 2in blocks from another kit.

I am installing them this weekend and will post some photos for you guys when I get around to snapping some photos.
