found this hood scoop last night when i was just browsing around looking for stuff for my truck... I've been looking for a hood for my dak but just looking for the cheepest deal really. :mullet: started looking into some hood scoops, thought this one looked pretty cool.:huh: I think It could go a long way on my truck

Its good to look out for deals, but cheaping out isnt always the best way to go.

Stick on scoops are lame unless you cut your hood up to make it functional.

And unless you're doing the work yourself, the cost of having it molded in to your hood (even without making it functional) so it isnt just literally stuck on with the lines clearly visible and then the cost of having it painted, plus the cost of the scoop.. you could go ahead and buy yourself a legit hood.

Hell, even if you just had it painted and stuck it on.. the cost of paint and the scoop, you could probably wait it out for a deal to pop up on a hood in the for sale section and spend about the same.

Well granted there is always a good way to do it and a way to save alittle cash. i'm gunna have to paint it either way (that would be the one thing i would have to have done) I can do the fitting myself. I do plan on making it functional as well.

Why not just get a bolt on hood scoop, cut a hole in your hood and call it good....IMO that thing is never going to look good.

That scoop has "a lot of work to make it look good" written all over it.
