I am new here I have a 2003 Dodge dakota sport with approx 47000 miles on it and it has been a great truck.

I have a check engine light on and have no idea how to go about finding out why, Any help please!!

turn the key from off to on 3 times and on the 3rd time leave it on the on position. the odometer will flass numbers @ ya, this is the code for the cel. write it down and post it up here. or you can go to autozone, they check the codes for free

there was just a post up on this. do that key turnin thing and get the numbers. and the i think sincity is his name has like ALLLLL of the codes. check it out http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7779&page=1&pp=15n should help.
