So my battery died last night! It was the weirdest thing. I left work to go buy the movie Saw, beer, and chips. (we were watching Saw 1 and 2 at work to get everybody up to speed so that we can go watch Saw 3 next week). And once I returned back to the car to go back to the office the fucking truck was dead, no click no nothing. So I was like WTF and then quickly realised that all the service stations were closed and was up shits creek w/o a paddle. I popped the hood and to my amazement there was a frothy white dry cloud of corrosion all over both poles on the battery. Nobody around had cables either to top it off. So I walk back into the liqour store that I just bought 2 cases of beer from and asked them if they had cables. They did and were more than eager to give me a hand. We got the poles real clean with a wiore brush and were able to move clamps back and forth to break up the corrosion within the clamps. We tried to jump it with the dudes 4cyl stratus but the D wouldn't budge. So then they were nice enough to continue helping and went and got there monster diesel delivery van and brought it over. The fucker started right up and has been fine ever since. I do plan of through cleaning everythin this weekend and having the battery tested to see if I should get a new one or not. So we ended up watching the movies drinking some beers and then on te way home a I caught up to a lotus esprit and we flew down the highway neck and neck at about 90-95. I think that he was just being nice though. So all in all a night that couldn't ended misereably went well and was a good time.

I don't think there is any need to change the cables. They are shiny and coppery now. Once I unhook the battery and clean everything real good I think that I will be all set.

Dude, he was being WAY nice...lol. That SOB will peg the speedo (165, if memory serves me correctly).
So gents the TOM debacle is now over. Hopefully there will be another Durango nominated for the vote in December. Let's continue to invite friends from other Dodge sites and including them in the 5 Door Whores. I welcome the new Durango members with a beer and a what's up.
