Joined the forum cause I have a fit question.i can get a new in box SS cattle/brush guard
for 200.american.its for my sons 05 Dakota.He is coming back state side after 3 yrs in Japan.
I want to fix/pretty up his truck before he gets home.He will be going to ft bliss next.

perhaps I should have said the guard is for a 04-06 DURANGO,sorry

I can almost guarantee that it will not bolt right on. While the Brush Guard is the same (Most likely), it is the mounting brackets that are vehicle specific. And with our Gen Dakota, there is pretty much nothing similar with the Durango. And tracking down the mounting brackets alone will be one hell of a challenge.

to bad theres no way to cross reference, there are litterly thousands
of those guards available .

You can always reach out to the manufacturer (technical support) and it may be a simple mounting bracket issue that you can get for a minimum cost. If you can't return it have him visit Four Wheel Center (family friends) when he gets to El Paso and they should be able to help him out.
