Idk y but blower motor now only works on one speed and thats high, the other 3 dont work and when i started it this morning it worked for about 5 min but before it stopped there was a noise around the fan that sounded like when u drop a marble on a box fan then that noise stopped and only had one speed.

Most likely what you need .....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-0...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

$13.68 shipped and you won't even have to leave the house to get it.
I just had a thread on the resistor last week, no need to order the part & wait. I got mine @ NAPA
thanks, ran to dealership cause no one else had one and all fixed thanks for help i thought was more serious and only 10 bucks and was the most simple thing to fix on these trucks

I replaced mine 4 times....first they told me to just keep replacing them as its the only fix, then finally they mentioned to me that the blow motors themselves cause the resistor cards to blow...fackers. :banana2:

Easy fix, two Torx screws right behind the glove box.

lol, not surprised at all. They did revise the resistor at one point though. The one i took out was much different than the one I installed.

I had half the dash ripped out at first looking for the thing...then I looked under the dash :funny:

Thankfully Lockwood got it in for me within a day and I had heat again. No heat in January is not nice lol

But I don't know if there is an easier/cheaper problem to fix
We carry these. If anyone needs one just shoot me a PM and I can send you a price on it.

yeah def a difference in the new ones, i had the old black one that looked like a credit card and new one looked like a computer circuit board. Oh and must say it is better, 2nd spot on dial is more then enough compared to before.
