They posted Dakota/Durango Emblems for sale on their web site. Link: http://www.custombilletstore.com/product_p/2052.htm

The choice of three colors, multiple graphics in hood emblems are available.
They also take custom orders for those with deeper pockets, and wanting something special.

Thank you BT!

Chris,

Welcome! Glad to see BT represent here on the forum. I've bee nkicking this puppy down the road for some time now. Glad to be able to hand the reins over as I've been busy with work, school, and life in general.

if there is anything I can assist with send me a email/pm.

Thanks again!
Mike

OKAY! let's see some pricing, finish options etc. It's nice looking stuff, but if it isn't anodized, it ain't worth diddly in the salt belt on a DD!!!
Do you have a picture of the M & mopar in the Blue as well. I want one, but I'm not sure if I want the black or the blue
We need a min of 10 to put the Dakota Hood Badges in production the link is on our site http://www.custombilletstore.com/category_s/76.htm

Replace that tired front hood emblem with these awesome looking billet pieces. Machined from 6061-T6 pure aircraft grade aluminum for the finest fit and finish anywhere in the aftermarket industry today. Fits your 97-04 to present Dodge Durango/Dakota
These pieces are then highly polished and anodized to your choice of black chrome, mirror red, or mirror blue anodize.

Standard offerings for you to choose from are R/T, Skull Head, Decepticon, Ram, Mopar, Mopar M and we can also engrave a custom image at an additional charge. More standard choices will be added shortly so keep checking back!
Easy to install 3M automotive tape included.
No more cheap OEM plastic to keep.

PICTURE IS FOR REFERANCE ONLY
Is the engraving done after the anodizing? If so what is used to protect the engraved area? The large one should fit the Ram hood, no?
Yes Engraving is done after anodizing you dont need any protection on the engrave we have been making these for years now and no complaints

Chris,

Correct me if I'm wrong but I beleive all of the designs can be ordered up without anodizing for those who prefer it "shiney and bright", or those concerned about salts corrosive affect on the anodizing.

A light coat of WD-40 (?) or simlar protective oil should take care of any severe weather concerns... IMO.:drive:

Chris, what does BT recommend for an extra measure of protection?

Thanks again!

Hey Mike yes you can order them in satin or polished but the image doesnt show as well that way, also if you are worried about protection then yes you can wipe a little WD everytime you wash the truck
I've always liked BT's products, but the SRT-10 hood isn't configured for a hood emblem.
I may be interested in a custom one depending on price. What's a ballpark figure for a custom engraving and what's the best way to contact you? Phone? Email? PM on this site? Let me know.

Umm.. who said anything about the SRT/10 ? this is a Dakota/Durango section.
Steve was talking about the SRT-10 "style" hood he has on his truck in his signature pic.

Would it be possible to get your billet door sills without text? Just the ball milled lines?
DOH!!!! LOL didnt see that

Yes you can get the door sills blank wih just the lines
It'll still work on your Dakota...

Steve,

It can be mounted anyplace you like on the hood as the back of the emblem is flat... Maybe in front of the scoop opening, or maybe better on top of the opening? It can also make for a sweet tailgate emblem on a custom truck. Maybe even as fender badges for those who like to show their stuff off.

:drive: Happy motoring!

Chris,

Waiting for the final "BDA" Bomb Damage Assessment... from Christmas. Once the picture is a bit more clear, likely a couple weeks at most, I'll be sending payment and graphics and color choice to have my custom hood emblem done up.

It is going to be sweet.... can hardly wait!!!:woot:

Thanks,
Mike

I'm sure it could be mounted somewhere, but IMHO it just wouldn't look right with the design of the hood. The only flat spots are within the scoop area, or up on top of the cowl.

With those thumbnails I see what you mean... Clean and mean just like it sits. Perhaps on the T/G? if anywhere at all.

I wish my truck looked even close to that nice!

1320 ft of bliss.... drag-on!

How about a 97 Ram hood? And how about an 01 Intrepid hood?

I think one of the 'winged' emblems could be worked in real sweet somehow!
Did I read correctly that 10 people are needed to make this happen?
