According to napaonline.com, the '99 and '02 have the same PS cap. :huh:
Per Randy's spreadsheet, PS1 caps were sent to all 97-02 trucks, and PS2 caps were sent to all 03-04 trucks. The PS1 cap is wider but shorter than the PS2 cap.the master and ps caps are the same for 97-2004 and possibly other models as well. I found this when I did my prototype R&D. Some other caps are different though.

YES you will be sent the replacement parts. You didn't like the excuses I was giving you, so I stopped giving them. In hindsight it was a mistake for me to promise you the two extra parts I had on hand, because they technically weren't mine to send out - I'm not the vendor, I'm just the middleman relaying information back and forth. I thought I would be done with this long ago and could ship out what I had on hand plus take care of everyone else, but it's been extremely difficult to get everything organized and relayed to Randy because of all the changes in my work & home schedule. All the free time that I used to have during the workday vaporized, and by the time I get off work Randy's shop has been closed for over 90 minutes. Randy and I wanted to make sure we had all of the proper information on hand about what happened with the PS caps before any actions were taken, otherwise we could just end up with more problems. Once everyone else sent me their caps I was finally able to set aside some time to contact Randy during his business hours - he was kind enough to stay at the shop for a couple of extra hours so we could get this hashed out, and the moment we had things settled I updated the thread so everyone knew what was going on.Not to complain or anything Steve, I don't want to sound like a nagging wife or anything, but why do you answer everybody elses posts but not mine, or my PM's. I mean, this GB has been going on now for over a year. I just want a stragiht answer, YES you are sending the tranny handle and the P/S cap cover that you claim to have, or NO you are not sending them and I will have to wait. You have had my incorrect parts now for over 3 months and at that time you told me you had the replacements. It's not like I am asking something for nothing, you have my money so why can't I have my parts.

I am trying to get everyone taken care of simultaneously (except mthandt because he's anodized, and I already said that), and I still haven't received Randy's package.
