Door locks

Hello,

Ok, 1st the rear passenger door lock was making a loud sound when I used the fob to unlock it. Finaly the door would not open and when I tried to unlock it from inside with the manual lock, it just fell into the door assembley? Now I cant open the door at all???? :dammit:

I have had the same problem with three doors on my 2000 durango. The power lock has gone out and had to be replaced. The part is not cheap.I will not let the dealer do it it cost 300.00 to have them replace part. A local gargae does it for around 100.00.

Dealer wanted to charge me $600 to fix 2 doors. At least they are consistent.

Do you know what the part name/number is that needs to be replaced? I am hoing I can junk-yard one (or two).
