about 2 weeks ago i was just sitting there with the truck in neutral listening to some music while i was waiting for someone. then all of a sudden my radio just shut off, and the dome light no longer works. my first thought was "well, i probably just blew a fuse or something." i have checked every single possible fuse, and none of them are blown. btw, i have a 12" audiobahn, 1400W boss amp, and a panasonic head unit. WHAT IS WRONG??:dammit:

Good Question

Depends. Does anything else work? Has the radio and dome light come back on? Are you feeding that massive amp with a cap? Stock radio or after market? With some more info such as the questions above, I might be able to come up with something. I have 2 MTX 7000s pushed by a Viper (Direct) 800, with a 1.0 Fared Cap. I don't haven't had a problems yet.

Have you checked the fuses under the hood? I had this problem in my 96 Cherokee runnin bout 1200w in it. It was a little yellow fuse that was either 5 or 10 amps that didn't look blown but I replaced it anyway because it said it was the lighting fuse and sure enough it worked.

yeah i checked all those too, but sometimes they can blow so you cant tell, i might have to replace a couple there.

There should be one in there for lighting and vehicle accesories. try changing both of them out. or just go to autozone/oreilly's/pepboys and buy a coulpe of different sizes of fuses and just start changing them out. also on some of the older vehicles and it didn't mater what maker they put fusible links on their wires coming to and going from the ignition switch. hope its not one of those because they are a supreme b!t&h to find.
