I just bought a 2000 Dakota in Jasper. I had never considered buying a Dodge but this truck is really growing on me. I don't like full size vehicles (too bulky) so the Dakota was the easy choice with its 4.7 V8. I've only had the truck a few days but I've already got a dozen things I want to do to it. However, I've got some extra parts that came with it. I listed them in the "Parts For Sale" section on the message board if anyone is interested. Of the many Dakota sites, this one seems to be the best. I look forward being a part of it.

Do yall know anyone in alabama that has a stillen bumper cover, i just bought one and need to find a place to get it painted. I was told that you have to use good rubber primer for the paint to stick, and i have a budget to stay in.

Well depending on what part of bama your in around bham ETC, i know a couple of places that do good work and are relativey cheap, 2 are in trussville, and on is in pinson, lemme know if you want any more information

I have a Stillen SC bumper cover on my Dakota, got mine painted at the Jim Burke Dodge body shop, I know the manager...the color matched perfect. I don't remember what it cost maybe $100-150?? give me a call and I can ask him what will they do another one for. 410-2212 or just go by there and ask for Don.

I got 2nd place in the 1980s-up truck class at the Huntsville Mopar show, I was suprised!! Also got 1st place in the FWD class with my 87 GLHS Charger..
