are there any secrets to replacing the rear speakers in an 02 extra cab?

yep take off the panels and remove the speakers, you may have to remove the seat to make it easier, sorry had to be a smart ass but thats pretty much it though

Use a plasma cutter to remove a panel from the exterior of the truck and you should able to change them, you'll just have to re weld and do some body work then get the outside of the truck painted back to stock.
