Sorry , im sure this comes up all the time.

I have a 2003, club cab, 4x4 3.9 V6 Base Model.

No upgrades from original

Has 16 x 7 factory steel rims
came stock with 245/70/16 Good Year wangler SR A,


Looking at General Grabber AT 2, 265/75R16. will they fit , any rubbing or clearance issues?

Minor trim. No trim, 265/70/16's would be better.

I'm thinking that size should be ok, but I might ask the tire dealer to install one on the front to check for clearance. Not sure what the backspacing is on those wheels.

You could just pull one and measure from the back of the wheel to the mounting surface. Use something straight across both sides of the wheel to get an accurate measurement.

I'm thinking 5.5" or less backspacing and you will be just dandy. If your truck is much lower in the front than the rear, cranking the t-bars wouldn't be a bad idea to level it up some. Just don't go crazy.

what does adjusting the t-bars do for the ride quality?



even if I do drop down to the 265/70's it will still be a nice improvement over what it came with. and would save me 40 bucks a tire. LOL

but getting that 2" over stock with the 75's would be sweet
