Well, it was a few months ago during SuperStorm Sandy, but my Durango went down. She took on water up to the bottom of the dash it seems, and went down fighting. The horn blew steadily for about an hour before it finally died.

Be on the lookout for a cherry black flooded R/T with a brand new aftermarket plenum plate, new bored out TB, brand new OE muffler (because I like the quiet rumble over any aftermarket muffler), new spare tire winch & black R/T 20s. Figures it would happen right after I spent all that money. Life's a bitch. :dammit:

RIP money-pit :(

Parting out requires time, skill, a place to do the work, an alternate daily driver & above all, agreeable Code Enforcement department as you tear down an automobile in your front yard. I have none (or very little) of the above. Plus, recovering from a devastating storm kind of dictated my priorities at the time.
