Interesting. Any plans for trans work.
Oh, and post pics of the truck.
Trans is built all kevlar, less than 2000 miles on it. Still under warranty with the transgo shift kit.
Truck is in a few pieces so i will get pics later on.
Must be running lots of compression or are you just wanting a mild build? That 4bbl m1 is going to kill your bottom end on a mild engine.
good call, i have the 2bbl adapter in my garage as well.
just waiting on 1.6 rocker arms, sct tuner and 24lb injectors.
what kind of 1/4 mile times you looking for?
As of now with full stock body/wheels/(-tailgate)
high 13's.
I will be done with the motor work this year, next year i will change focus
on the weight, (wheels: skinnys in front, more grip in the rear)
and then springs/traction bars) lose the front bumper/replace it with a lighter version, etc.
and just dial in truck with tuning.
Oh, wait just one more mod i want to do under the hood, long tube headers/full exhaust.
And hopefully with all those mods next year I will get in the low 13's.
Stage one seems pretty realistic and given good conditions you might squeeze a 13.9 out of it with stock gears. I wouldn't count on stage 2 for more than two or three tenths though. I got tired of running high 13s and low 14s so I threw a bottle on it haha.
Yeah, it may not account for all that much time, dropping the weight.
I want to keep it streetable, it is my daily driver as well, so I will be happy.
This is the kit I bought from Chris,

"Magnum Mauler Pak"

Bolt 250 bhp onto your stock block!

Kit Includes:

Super Tune Iron Cylinder Head Kit- Complete with Port work and all hardware
Rocker arms
Pushrods
Head bolts
Head Gaskets
Camshaft
4bbl M1 Intake
24lb. injectors
SCT Hand held Tuner
With a sound & stock bottom end, this kit will produce 425- 450bhp and maintain excellent drivability.

Unless they are putting a HUGE cam in that setup i doubt you will see over 350hp..... Not trying to say it cant be done, it can..... But most kit things like that grossly over estimate what you will make to get you to buy it....
I do understand, I want 325ish WHP, HOPING< crossing fingers.
I just want it to break into 13's.

Im not sure 325 will pit you into the 13s, but i dont know what truck youre running (if you said in the thread already please ignore my ignorance....LOL)

I am shooting for 13s next summer as well....but i am turboing a club cab gen2....

First sentence of the thread says gen 3 club cab r/tard lol. I'm running a similar mods but with headers, gears, and a small stall. I think his goals are realistic in perfect conditions however he'll probably have a lot better luck with a bigger stall, especially with the 4bbl.
ive got the 2bbl adapter kit. Just not pictured.
I have looked around in the timeslip area's, my setup should net 13's with good reaction time, very high 13's
Even with the 2bbl adaptor and a 52mm throttle body it'll kill your bottom end. You'll see when you put it on.
what did you do to compensate?
I run a 2bbl m1 with a higher stall converter and a flat spot on the bottom end is still noticeable especially when it's hot out. I wish I had a 2800 stall to get over that hump though.
ok thanks, i will check out the prices.
What about advancing timing?
I'm assuming that Chris is going to custom tune it for you with the sct right?
