guys, I need some help.
I'm looking to design and produce my own air hat for a custom dual air intake.
I see lots of people building their own intake but most use the stock air hat.
Does anyone have a custom air hat or have any ideas or suggestions on how I can go about building one?
Thanks

The first step is to build a template using heavy paper board. You can cut and shape your design then when you come up with what you want you can use the template to cut out the air hat using metal or what ever material you choose to go with.

A good resource to use is to pick up some books on aerodynamics. One industry that has perfected air flow is the film extrusion industry. They have taken air flow to the limits and have designed equipment that can supply large volumes of air with very little turbulence.

Check with Rick Gindoy at www.prozenmotorsports.com (or click his banner link) - he sells twin-port air intakes on E-Bay on a regular basis, but I don't know if his air hats are available separately.
