just replied to a guy looking for interior Mark III parts. we'll see what he wants.as for the Dana 44 swap yeah I knew about the tubes being different diameters, may have to have some fab. done .maybe a full floating axle job. heard later models had dana 35 diffs. may have to do that.just thinking out loud. just want to replace that weak 7.5 front diff with something that can handle more torque. want to change both axle ratios to 4.10's . since i have 3.55's and running 31" tires speedo is reading 5 mph slower than actual speed. have to watch the rpm's and lock out overdrive until I reach 55mph. front tires are rubbing on the frame at full turn, gotta fix that too. Also a semi has a better turning radius than my Dakota. However my Dak rides like a dream.

There are still a few Georgians left here. I keep seeing a few trucks up by where I live. A murdered the hell out & slammed Durango RT. I see a gray QC 4x4 on some black american racing D wheels, saw a white lifted QC that looks fantastic, and a few lowered extended cab's too.

Greetings from Loganville GA
Use to have a 99 Durango 4x4 5.2 that was a good vehicle. Had 215k miles on it. Only reason got rid of it was never could get the hose from the power steering pump to stop leaking. Finally gave up and traded it in, had other problems that was easy to over look, but the power steering was just to much.
Anyway, my Christmas treat to myself is a 94 Dakota, 3.9 automatic with the Mark III package. Body is in great shape, paint has to be redone. I think the motor and all feels solid and runs well. That was until yesterday when the motor just died. Since it did crank up about an hour later, so not the timing belt at least. Going to work on fuel pump later (thanks to info I found on this site).
Anyway, will try to post photos later as I plan on this being a long term project. Am not a mechanic by any means, so apologies up front for any future crazy sounding questions.
