He'll yea do a build thread. I wish I could help. I am a pro at hubs. It ain't a bad job in a driveway though. I've rebuilt a Honda on a driveway haha

you can pull the hub away from the axle. loosen the nut and it slides off.

I have abs, the rears are the ones that have it though. About to go check out the sound im having, and paint a stripe on the truck

thanks alot yall, i'm enjoying the site. planning on doing several more mods. to my Dakota soon. it's a 96 ext cab sport 4x4 with 109000. miles on the magnum 5.2L i'm the second owner,my dad purchased it new with this creepy MARK III aftermarket package. removed the ugly fiberglass running boards-fender flares. has a fiberglass bed topper on it,which i actually like. the engine is healthy and runs great. lots of power after the mods i have done. it came custom equiped with class 4 hitch and trailor towing package with sway control arms and electric brake control. custom made ball hitch for a camper.had the 46RE Trans rebuilt to super duty specs @ 88,000. due to dad pulling a 33 ft camper up and down the NC mountains a few times.has the NP231HD transfer case. plan on either bore and stroking the 318 ,or building a 408cid motor to my specs. time and money will tell.

any ideas on replacing the front stock 7.5 Dodge diff with a dana 44? well aware of the IFS limitations. just wondering if i can swap a dana 44 center section with the stock tubes and aftermarket shafts with matching splines. also going to replace the rear 8.5 axle shafts with a lockrite and 97 model spline shafts.

sounds like you got a good truck. I know of a couple guys who love extra MARK III parts, if you still have them worth trying to sell. Post up pics..

I dont think the swap is possible, get on here and try and see if anyone will respond, but I believe our tubes on the sides are smaller diameter than the Dana.
