Ok, so I was having overheating problems with my 4.7... Found that my fan clutch was in need of replacement... of course when replacing, the belt needed to come off... after put back together, the belt had a little squeak.. then it stopped.... I ran the A/C full blast (to try and make the truck overheat).... and the belt screamed... now it will squeal when either the A/C is on ...or the defrosters are on.... I'm figuring that its the A/C clutch... but never had to deal with an issue like this.... the truck no longer over heats by the way

Check idler and tensioner first. Can't tell you how many times I've pulled belts for other work only to have one or both fail.
