I have a 99 dakota with a 3.9 v6 2wd.It idles normal in park but once put into gear rpm drops low or even stalls completely sometimes but if it doesnt stall idle increases to the point of making it move unless brake is apllied.I have changed the IAC valve,TPS sensor and mass air flow sensor but problem is still there any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, there's no mass airflow sensor on these trucks. Second, check vacuum lines and then, which is more likely the culprit, the belly pan gasket on the intake manifold. To check if it's bad, take the airhat off the throttle body, open the butterflies and shine a light down the throttle body. If there is a buildup of oil at the bottom of the intake then you have a blown belly pan gasket.
